Armstrong Pet Hospital

Have been taking my dogs here for some time. Nice staff, helpful and friendly. Very new building, nice and clean inside. Appointments run smoothly and have limited wait. We called in needing to have 1 dog seen asap and were able to get in the same day, although it was late evening appointment we were happy that our pet was able to be seen the same day as when we called.

Armstrong has been the worst veterinarian we have ever been to. un attentive, rushed, and disorganized. If you’re considering a vet I highly recommend looking elsewhere. Our experience was terrible from start to finish. Wrong information given, the Dr. seemed uncaring and had no desire to be there for longer than 2 minutes, and complete headache with our paperwork and shots, due to disorganized staff and misinformation. I could go on and on… We really wanted to like this place but after issue after issue I just had to write this review to help others from a bad experience.

I can not say enough about this place. They are hands down one of the best in town. They always know Roger, and his driving goggles. Lol. They always get us in, they are always clean, and courteous. Paige is always so sweet to us, and the doctors are phenomenal!!! I had Roger's teeth cleaned, and I was not expecting them to be white again....I had taken another dog I had elsewhere before and even though they said they cleaned his teeth, they looked the same....I am beyond happy, impressed, and thankful for you all!!! 10 stars if I could!

Update 6/23/14: All veterinarian office are about making lots of money and that's just a fact of life these days. Taking that into consideration I found little difference in this vet vs another vet. This time I let them know up front I am on lunch from work and they were more mindful of my time. The veterinarian also provided me with a concrete strategy with how to treat the dog. The veterinarian was Dr. Gil and he is a master of his craft. I am changing my review to 5 stars based on my interaction with Dr. Gil and them being considerate of my time. Original: 1-Star I had an appointment, I show up 15 minutes early. I was put in a room to see the Veterinarian and 30 minutes pass. I go to the front and they say the Veterinarian was late and it's going to be anther 15 minutes. Armstrong Pet Hospital is not giving me something for free, I am in fact paying a great deal of money for vet service, and as a customer I should have been told upon arrival that I was going to have an excessively long wait time. If they could not tell me on arrival they could have told 15 minutes into the appointment. I had to take my lunch break from work to take my pet to this appointment and it's obvious they don't value my time. They did nothing to fix this situation.

Armstrong Vet has one of the largest waiting rooms of any vets in the Fresno and Clovis area. It is very comfortable and chic. Even with several assistants at the front desk, you do have to wait a little bit but Dr. Reyes was worth the wait. She was warm and friendly with my dog and very knowledgeable. I fully believe that my dog was well taken care of during his surgery and the lab work was thorough. We were sent home with medications that were ready at pick-up and good instructions for follow-up care. We'll see them again in a couple of weeks.

They misdiagnosed My friends dog and he died from pancreatitis, and The excuse the receptionist relayed to me from the vet,(he wouldn't come out to talk to me)was that the symptoms were the same as what he was being treated for.the dogs name was Rocky he was barely over a year old and he was there for four days before he died. being treated for the wrong condition and suffering in pain until he died alone in the early morning hours.this really messed my friend up And I am distressed as well, I raised Rocky from birth, I own his mother.i drove The dog and my friend to this vet that killed his dog so now we are no longer friends and he blames me for his dogs death. Which is absolutely ridiculous.armstong killed his dog and his Bill was very high.for the treatment the dog didn't need, please take your animal anywhere else if you want it to live
